What is the NFL stadium bag policy?
28 of the 29 NFL stadiums we checked allow clear bags only, and 28 of those list the same size: clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches (some pages write 12 x 12 x 6). The other one is Raymond James Stadium (no bags, except a small clutch). Each stadium’s row lists its own rules and links to its page.
Do MLB ballparks have a clear bag policy?
Some do. Of the 29 MLB ballparks we checked, 10 allow clear bags only, 14 allow bags, with limits, and 5 have other rules: no bags, with small exceptions (2); only a few bag types allowed; one small or clear bag; small bags, or clear bags. Of the 14 that allow bags with limits, 12 set the size at 16 x 16 x 8 inches. Read your ballpark’s row before you pack.
What is the bag policy at NBA and NHL arenas?
Of the 42 NBA and NHL arenas we checked, 1 allows clear bags only, 15 allow bags, with limits, and 26 have other rules: small bags only (15); no bags, except a small clutch (9); small bags at basketball games; clear bags, or a small clutch. Can I bring a medical bag or a diaper bag?
85 of the 100 venues on this page list an exception for medical items or bags, and 50 of those say they are inspected or screened first. For the other 15, the bag rules we read don’t mention one, so ask the venue. Diaper bag rules differ more: some venues allow them only with a child, some only if they are clear, and some not at all. Read the row for your venue.
Can I bring gluten-free food in a clear bag?
A bag that meets the venue’s bag rules gets you through the bag check, but each venue’s food rule decides what food comes in. 67 of the 100 venues on this page publish a rule that allows food for a dietary need, with conditions, and some of them ask you to get approval or write to them first. Each row shows the venue’s food rule, and every guide has a request you can send to the venue before you go.
