Barclays Center food policy

Allowed for dietary needs, with conditions

Outside food and drinks are generally prohibited. The arena allows exceptions for medical requirements or special needs and asks guests to contact Guest Services at 917-618-6111 or guestservices@barclayscenter.com before the event. Its Outside Food & Drink entry also allows medically required beverages, liquid prescription medication and small amounts of sealed food required to take medication.

We checked the venue’s rules on October 10, 2026. Rules can change, so check before you go.

Barclays Center bag policy

Small bags only

  • Backpacks and any bags larger than 10" x 6" x 2" are not permitted inside Barclays Center.
  • Barclays Center asks guests to travel light and leave bags at home. Guests without bags can use Express Lanes.
  • There is no bag check. Bags that do not meet the policy should go back to your vehicle.
  • All bags are screened, and X-rayed where available, which may delay entry.

Medical and diaper bags: Special consideration will be made for guests with medical needs and those caring for infants. Baby bags, plastic bottles, and formula are permitted into the building.

Food and drinks: Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Medically required drinks, liquid prescription medication or small amounts of sealed food needed to take medication can be allowed. Contact Guest Services in advance. Food you need for a medical diet can have its own rule: see Can you bring food into Barclays Center?
