Peanut allergy at stadiums and arenas
Peanut-allergy games, whether peanuts are sold, each venue’s allergy process, and food labeled nut-free, as MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL venues publish them.
100 of 115 pro venues publish a peanut-allergy game, whether peanuts are sold, an allergy process, or food labeled nut-free.
Peanut or tree-nut allergy? A label, a peanut-free game, or a cleaned section does not remove the risk of cross-contact or peanut dust elsewhere in the building. Confirm the details with the venue before you buy tickets and again on game day, and follow your allergist’s plan.

A designated area of the Club Level
Game against the Kansas City Royals. Peanut products are not served in a designated area of the Club Level. Buyers must read and accept a Likeness Authorization and Release of Liability before buying tickets. The Dodgers say "peanut-allergy friendly" does not mean peanut-free: they make reasonable efforts to restrict peanut products in the designated area and to clean it in advance, but cannot guarantee the absence of peanut particles or residue anywhere in the ballpark. “Peanut-Controlled Areas”
Club Outfield Box Sections 306 and 307
Tickets are for people with peanut allergies and their families; the Brewers may ask for a doctor's note and every buyer signs a release form. Peanuts are not allowed in Sections 306 and 307 on peanut-controlled dates, with signs and dedicated ushers. The sections and nearby area are power washed, wiped down and inspected before each date, and the escalator handrail is wiped. Fans enter through the Club Express Gate 15 minutes before general gates open. Fans above and next to the sections get plastic bags for peanut shells, and cleaning staff are on call. The Brewers say peanuts will be present in the rest of the ballpark and they cannot guarantee the absence of peanut particles and residue. The Brewers ask fans to check back for 2027 information; no dates are posted.
“Peanut Controlled Games”
Peanut-controlled seating area (shared space, first come, first served)
Preparations include power-washing the seating section, placing emergency responders nearby, removing items with any peanut related ingredients in the immediate area, and posting "No Peanut Zone" signs around the section. The space is cleaned the night before a game. The Padres say they can't guarantee that fans in neighboring areas and seats will not be eating peanuts, and buyers assume the risk that peanut and other allergens will be present. For more information, call the Padres ticket office at 619.795.5555.

Game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Fans with a peanut allergy and their guests sit in a peanut-controlled section; reasonable efforts are made to make Section 336 peanut and nut-controlled. Ticket holders enter through the Suite Lobby doors at the 2nd & King Gate and must sign a Peanut Allergy Friendly waiver before reaching their seats. Online only, 1 to 14 tickets per game; a portion of proceeds benefits the Natalie Giorgi Sunshine Foundation.
“Peanut Controlled Night”
Section 331
Tickets are in a peanut-free section that is thoroughly cleaned before the game, and the sale and consumption of peanuts are not allowed there. Only Section 331 has restrictions on peanuts, and the Cardinals say they cannot guarantee that any other section will be peanut-free. Ticket limit 19.

Which teams have peanut-allergy games?
6 teams on this site have published a peanut-free, peanut-reduced, or peanut-controlled game, section, or suite: Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Guardians, Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies and Seattle Mariners. None of the listed dates is still to come. Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals also describe a peanut-allergy program, but their pages state no year, so it is not counted.
Does a peanut-free game mean the stadium is free of peanuts?
No. Teams usually stop peanut sales in one section or suite and clean those seats before the game. Peanuts can still be sold elsewhere in the building. Ask the team exactly what is done.
Do stadiums sell peanuts?
Many do. On this site, menus or venue pages at 72 venues list peanuts for sale, in the shell, roasted, or bagged (10 of them on last season’s menu, shown with its date). 47 also list other nuts, such as almonds, cashews, or nuts of a kind they do not name. Where the venue does not say, its page says so.
Can I bring an EpiPen or my own snacks into a stadium?
Most venues allow medication. Rules for outside food vary; some allow it for medical needs. Each venue page quotes the venue’s own rule. Confirm with guest services before you go.
