Peanut or tree-nut allergy? A label, a peanut-free game, or a cleaned section does not remove the risk of cross-contact or peanut dust elsewhere in the building. Confirm the details with the venue before you buy tickets and again on game day, and follow your allergist’s plan.

The Red Sox offered Peanut Allergy Friendly sections in the Right Field Roof Terrace at six Sunday games in 2026, with pre-game cleaning and no peanut sales at the nearest stands. The team says Fenway Park can never be considered completely peanut free, and fans with peanut allergies must sign a waiver.

The Terraces are thoroughly cleaned before each game and inspected for remaining traces of peanuts. Medical staff are present, extra security admits only PAF guests to the area, peanuts are prohibited in surrounding sections, and the concession stands closest to the Terrace level remove peanut and peanut products from their menus. Fan Services staff are in the sections during the game. Every fan with a peanut allergy must sign a waiver sent by email. Fans with severe allergies who cannot be outdoors can contact peanutallergy@redsox.com about alternate accommodations.

Are peanuts or tree nuts sold?

Peanuts are sold; not stated whether in the shell. The Red Sox concessions list names peanuts at many locations, including the Big Concourse, Green Monster, Home Plate Concourse and Gate A and Gate E Concourses.

The venue does not say whether tree nuts are sold.

How the venue handles allergies

For food allergy questions, the Red Sox direct fans to Accessible Services at 617-226-6197. Each concession stand should have an allergen chart fans can ask to see. The team names Fritos, ice cream cones, bags of peanuts and peanut M&Ms as exceptions for peanut allergies. At other games, the team suggests packing cleaning wipes and medication; Fan Services booths near Gates B, D and E can often relocate fans, though this is not guaranteed. For an allergic reaction, go to the Beth Israel Deaconess First Aid stand on the lower concourse behind Grandstand 12, or alert the nearest staff member.
