Moda Center bag policy

Small bags at basketball games

  • At basketball events (NBA, WNBA), bags up to 10" x 6" x 2" are allowed and get a second screening in a bag line. Traveling without a bag is suggested.
  • At other events, bags up to 14" x 14" x 6" are allowed.
  • Hard-sided bags are not allowed.
  • The bag policy can change by event, so check the Know Before You Go email.

Medical and diaper bags: Medical and childcare exceptions are permitted and are screened via x-ray at designated locations, but cannot exceed 14" x 14" x 6". Child bags, bottles and specific foods are permitted but must enter through a bag line and go through search or an x-ray machine.

Food and drinks: All outside food and beverages are prohibited from Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum, with exceptions for medical and children needs. Empty non-glass water bottles up to 32 oz are allowed inside the arenas except on GA Floors. Food you need for a medical diet can have its own rule: see Can you bring food into Moda Center?
