Rate Field food policy

Yes, some outside food is allowed, with conditions

The White Sox guide says single-serving food items may be brought into Rate Field in an approved bag or carried in your hands for screening, along with one factory-sealed or empty plastic water bottle of one liter or less. It lists no separate dietary exception, so that rule applies to everyone. Insulin, epi-pens and other necessary medical devices are allowed. Call the White Sox at 312-674-1000 to ask about a dietary need.

We checked the venue’s rules on September 22, 2026. Rules can change, so check before you go.

I can’t eat gluten

For a medical reason I need food with no wheat, barley or rye, not even crumbs.

  • Is this the gluten-free version? Can I see the label?
  • Can you change gloves and use a clean surface?
  • Is it fried in the same oil as breaded food?

Thank you!
