Target Center food policy

Allowed for dietary needs, with conditions

Target Center's FAQ says outside food and beverage are not allowed, but it lists foods or juices necessary for medical reasons (its examples are orange juice and candy bars) among permitted items, along with medication and milk or formula for infants. Guests with a medical issue should contact Guest Services at 612-673-1380 in advance. The FAQ does not say whether a full meal brought for a dietary need counts.

We checked the venue’s rules on October 10, 2026. Rules can change, so check before you go.

Target Center bag policy

Small bags only

  • Bags no larger than 5" x 9" are permitted, and so are diaper bags and medical bags (searched at entry).
  • Backpacks and purses larger than 5" x 9" are not allowed.

Medical and diaper bags: Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted and searched at entry. Guests with a portable electric breast pump may bring a larger bag for medical supplies; tell security, who will screen it at the gate.

Food and drinks: Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but the arena’s permitted list includes foods or juices needed for medical reasons, milk or baby formula for infants, and reusable plastic drinkware with a lid. For a medical issue, call Guest Services at 612-673-1380 in advance. Food you need for a medical diet can have its own rule: see Can you bring food into Target Center?
